Forager Anniversary Picnic

Hark! Come celebrate Forager's 5th anniversary!

Join us for good food and good company, merrymaking and the newfound friends beneath the trees!

Wear your favorite Foragercore outfit! Whatever that means to you: Test run your Ren Faire outfit, dress cozy like a Hobbit, wear Cottagecore, Mori Kei/Dolly Kei, Vintage, or just a cool outfit you've been wanting an excuse to wear! Dress-up is encouraged but not required.

Feel free to bring your hobbies (crocheting, drawing, instruments, etc) to pass the time and find similar hobbyists.

Note, this is not a market event! No need for purse or coin, we just want to have a chance to hang out, enjoy some good food, and make new friends.

FAQ: 

• Where can I park?
  • Raleigh Park has a free parking lot! If necessary, there is additional parking up the street at West Slope community library.
• How do I get tickets?
  • No tickets required! This event will be open to the public
• How big will this event be?
  • It's our first time doing something like this, so probably not that big? We have no idea yet, but we're expecting anywhere from 30-50 people?
• Why are there no vendors?
  • Two reasons:
    1) We wanted to host an event that wasn't focused around buying & selling
    2) We didn't want to have to figure out permits and insurance for a vending event
• Can I perform music, dance, or busk?
  
  • While we really want music and to see performances, we are being asked to keep volume to the immediate area (no amplified music) and we are asked not to do activity involving vendors/cash. 
    If you can keep to those requirements, please do feel free to perform! (or do so at your own risk!)
• Are kids allowed?
  • Yes, this is an all-ages event, and the park has a play area closeby for the littles.
