People have always been interested in weird stuff, but starting in the Renaissance they really made a big deal about it. That's when Cabinets of Curiosities became the new cool thing. They were entire rooms full of collections that could include almost anything, like scientific specimens, relics of the odd, rare antiquities, and other strange items. These collections showed off their curators' interests much like a really ancient version of Pinterest although with a lot more skeletons and preserved bugs. 🪳🕯️
These socks offer just a tiny window into this old tradition, with a variety of oddities that would fit into any such collection.

From the maker: Our socks are all combed cotton/nylon/spandex blends. Socks are knitted at 200N, which is a fancy way of saying "the highest definition" of sock stitch. We add double terry padding in the heel and toe areas. The spandex addition allows for our socks to fit adult sizes 5-13. We do not recommend our current selections for people with very wide calves, however.
It’s super nerdy, but I've always loved novelty socks. I worked in a magic/costume store for 10 years and would wear them under my combat boots for a splash of color (under my all-black ensemble.) It's important to me to provide an affordable, positive, giftable, and responsible product.
