One copper electroformed Ruby Tiger Moth on an 18" copper chain, with a deep red marquise-shaped ruby set at the center.
The Ruby Tiger Moth has several subspecies throughout the world. One or two small spots are present on the forewings, these can be connected forming a crescent. Moths are said to represent death in the spiritual sense which leads to transformation and regeneration.
July birthstone, Ruby is believed to promote loving, nurturing, health, knowledge and wealth.

Care instructions: Pure copper can change color when exposed to two air, elements, moisture, and oils from your skin. This is called oxidation. Your skin may turn a green hue to your own body chemistry. All copper pieces have been sealed with Protectaclear to slow this process. Your item may require additional sealant if one often to avoid oxidation (or if you love it like we do, let it go!) From time to time you can use wax or nail polish to guard off oxidation. Polishing copper jewelry including chains, is as easy as finding a common acid like lemon juice or vinegar, or simply using a polishing cloth.
