From Flags For Good
🏳🌈 lesbian (wlw) flag with grommets and double stitched edges to reduce fraying.
✍️ the design: the original "lipstick" lesbian flag emerged online around 2010 with red lips on 6 or 7 stripes. Emily gwen designed the simplified 7- stripe orange and pink gradients. In modern usage, the design has simplified this design to 5 stripes.
🧵 our flags are durable 200D polyester (most flags you'll find on the internet are cheap ~75D). In our testing, we selected 200D as the perfect flag material; anything heavier doesn't fly well and the "back" doesn't get enough ink, anything lighter feels cheap and won't last very long.
🖨 ↩️ we print this flag as a one-sided print and make sure that the back has ample (around 90%) bleed-through. .
- 3' x 5' Feet
- Single-Sided with metal grommets
🏳🌈 Flags For Good started in early 2020, as a way to channel societal rage and quarantine boredom into something that made a positive impact on our planet. Michael, the founder, also just so happened to be a flag nerd (like have-two-TED-talks level nerd) and was sick of buying flags from companies that also sold, well, let’s just call them “flags for bad."
So Flags For Good was started to:
• Celebrate diverse identities and raise awareness of causes that move humanity in the right direction.
• Donate a portion of each flag sold to a relevant charity or organization making real, positive change.
• Put more flags in the hands of change-makers like you!

In our short history, we’ve been able to donate tens of thousands of dollars to great causes, and now, are getting to be inside awesome stores around the country.
