From Sam Pletcher

"Welcome to the Gender Spectrum, where everything is made up and binaries don't matter!"

From the artist: "This sticker is inspired by the classic TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyways" but with a queer twist. The original tagline of the show is "Welcome to Whose Line Is It Anyways where everything is made up and points don't matter" because the show is a series of very silly and barely structured improvised skits. And you know what else is very silly and barely structured? The social constructs of gender! So I thought this design was a perfect combination of those ideas."
This waterproof sticker ready for sticking on laptops, water bottles, car bumpers, or anywhere else you can think of!
  • Measures approx 3" x 3"

Sam Pletcher is a queer artist who grew up in Minnesota, and now lives in Portland. One of her inspirations for colorful art was the cold and gray weather of both places. Sam strives to create through various mediums, her latest works featuring sequins and mixed media.

From the artist: "Sequins are a commonly overlooked item, frequently associated with cheapness, and maybe that’s why I like them so much. Like glitter, sequins are also a symbol of visible queerness and are an important artifact from when all homosexual activity had to happen after dark, but still with fierce, sparkly defiance.

That bravery to be yourself, despite public reaction, is beautiful and terrifying. It not only motivates my art practice, but certainly bleeds over into multiple aspects of my life. How could it not? Such big feelings can only be processed perpetually. And, in my opinion, with color and humor and paint and sequins and visually investigating my thoughts."
