This mystical necklace features a teardrop-shaped rainbow moonstone set in the shape of a butterfly. 🌙🦋

Moonstone is said to encourage New opportunities and open new beginnings. The Black Archduke butterfly is believed to me connected to the moon and to intuitive discoveries. They show up to help you discover your hidden desires, and awaken you to your true self.

  • Pendant measures approx 2 x 1" inches
  • Chain is 16 inches
  • Dark gunmetal patina copper
  • Handmade in North Carolina

MergingMetals was started in 2016 by Holly and Steven in Asheville, NC. They specialize in small batch, ethically and sustainable sourced mixed metal jewelry.

Care instructions: Pure copper can change color when exposed to two air, elements, moisture, and oils from your skin. This is called oxidation. Your skin may turn a green hue to your own body chemistry. All copper pieces have been sealed with Protectaclear to slow this process. Your item may require additional sealant if one often to avoid oxidation (or if you love it like we do, let it go!) From time to time you can use wax or nail polish to guard off oxidation. Polishing copper jewelry including chains, is as easy as finding a common acid like lemon juice or vinegar, or simply using a polishing cloth.
